Cookie policy - Give a Day

In this policy, Give a Day explains how and with which technology information is collected on its website www.giveaday.be from persons who (simply) visit its website. This is mainly done by means of so-called cookies. Certain cookies are necessary for the website and its security to work properly. You cannot disable them. For the other cookies, we ask your permission. If you have not agreed to them, they will not be placed.

Why do we ask your permission nonetheless?

These cookies are indispensable for visiting our websites and for using them. The website is encoded in PhP, and it always sets session cookies in order to use the website and log in.   • preferred_language; Give a Day; To avoid having to select the language toggle on Impactdays.co on every new page that you visit, we save the language preference in a Cookie; 1 year.

The following cookies are used for people with Administrator credentials (Name; Who; Why; How; How long):

  • edit-mode; Give a Day; This cookie is placed when a platform administrator wants to change a text in the platform (e.g. the text of a vacancy) from the admin panel; 1 year.
  • jwt; Give a Day; The Login token cookie allows the platform administrators to log into the back office management system (the admin panel); 1 year.

2.2 Functional cookies

The functional cookies are the cookies that facilitate the functioning of our websites, make it more pleasant for the visitor and ensure that you get a more personalized surfing experience. These cookies can be used to recognize you if you visit the website again and save your registration data or remember the preferences that you have indicated on the website.

The following cookies are used for people with Administrator credentials (Name; Who; Why; How; How long):

  • data-table-TABLE_NAME; Give a Day; Cookies to keep track of which columns are visible and which table is sorted by which column in a platform's admin panel. These cookies are only stored in the browser and are not sent to the server; 1 year.

This website uses Google Analytics, which is one of the most used and reliable analytics software on the internet and helps us to analyze the preferences of the users so that we can optimize the experience of the users on our website.

  • _ga; Google; Records a unique ID that is used to generate statistical data about how the visitor uses the website during different visits of the website; 2 years.
  • _gat; Google; Used to slow down query speed, more specifically it is used to limit the number of requests to doubleclick.net so that the website continues to run even if many users visit the website at the same time; 1 minute.
  • _gid; Google; Records a unique ID that is used to generate statistical data about how the visitor uses the website during a visit to the website (e.g. in which order the page is viewed); 1 day.
