Vrijwilligerspunt Gent is the central point of contact and information for anyone involved in voluntary work in Ghent. Both (candidate) volunteers, as well as organizations who work with volunteers can consult us for matching, information, advice and support.

Services

• Matching the supply & demand of volunteering in Ghent through our website: organizations upload the profiles they are still looking for as a vacancy; possible volunteers use the vacancy database to find what they are looking for
• Our central office orients candidates based on personal contact, and offers advice to individuals & organizations. You can get an appointment via our contact page
• We highlight volunteering in Ghent through communication & activities. For example, we organize several activities during the Volunteering Week (beginning of March) and International Day of the Volunteer (on 5 December)
• We provide trainings for organizations and volunteers
• We provide information and support on demand for organizations and volunteers - feel free to contact us
